Resumen (ES)
This article describes the cases of two patients
with bilateral stress fractures, at the femoral neck level and
in the distal region of the fibula, patients who don´t have a
previous history of excessive stressful activity or apparent
metabolic bone disease. The first case refers to an old woman
with located fractures 4cm proximal to the distal tip of the
lateral malleolus that it evolved to the complete healing without
sequels by means of brace and analgesics in a period of
10-12 weeks. The second case is about a middle-aged man
with bilateral subcapital fractures of the femoral neck, in
which, after the persistence of the pain and the functional
limitation, was necessary surgical treatment by bilateral hip
arthroplasty.
