Resumen (ES)
A series of 161 patients affected of shoulder impingement
syndrome is presented. All cases were treated surgically
by open acromioplasty and repair of the torn rotator cuff.
The study has been realized of retrospective form, being evaluated
a series of clinical, radiological and surgical variables,
and some parameters to value the results. In the last evaluation,
82% of the patients were satisfied with their situation,
with a significant improvement as much of the pain as the
mobility of the shoulder (p < 0.001). Average follow-up after
operative management was 45 months.
