Resumen (ES)
We report a case of this uncommon lesion included
in the group of fibroblastic tumor of soft tissues. Elastofibroma
usually occurs in active patients of middle age (50-55 years)
and is tipically located in the subescapular region, although it
may be found in other sites. It may be confused with sarcoma
at operation, but its unique clinical and histologic characteristics
allow to distinguish it from a malignant tumor and facilitate
its management.
