Resumen (ES)

Currently, there is no consensus among authors on how radiological alignment influences the survival of the
primary total knee prosthesis implant. Methods: Retrospective study analyzing radiological measurements in the coronal
and sagittal plane in patients who underwent primary total knee arthroplasty in our center who required revision surgery.
Results: The percentage of cases within the correct angle range in the femoral component were 93.9% coronal, 69%
sagittal, and in the tibial component 81.6% coronal, 85.7% sagittal. The mean mechanical alignment of the limb was 179º.
Conclusion: Although there is a trend for the time interval between prosthesis implantation and revision surgery to be
longer if these angles are within the range, mechanical alignment does not seem to influence survival time in our sample.
