Van Neck Odelberg disease is a rare and benign pathology. However, it can mislead to aggressive diagnostic tests given
its similarity to more serious diseases.The aim of this paper is to present the case of a 13-year-old male affected by Van
Neck Odelberg disease, as well as his diagnosis and the consequences of the misinterpretation of this pathology’s
symptoms
