The luxation of the astragalus are severe but uncommon injuries. These luxations associates a great sort of complications,
so they can be a challenge for the surgeon. Tipically are consequence of high energy impact in young people. Less
frequently these injuries happend as a result of low energy impact in people with a higher laxity of their joints or
malformations.They often associates talus or ankle fractures, tendon rupture, o neurovascular damage. These lesions are
named pure–luxation of the astragalus when there is not bone fracture. This article has the aim of describe the three
types of pure–luxation of the astragalus by three case reports.
