Resumen (ES)
Schwannoma is the most common peripheral nerve benign tumor and the localization on the lowerlimbs nerves is exceptional. We report a case in a 44-year-old woman consulted for pain and paresthesias in the rightleg. On physical examination, a painful deep mass on the outer side of his right leg was evident, with positiveTinel sign. In the soft tissue echography and the magnetic resonance, a schwannoma of deep peroneal nerve wasobserved. Excision of the lesion was realized, being the pathological diagnosis positive for schwannoma. After18 months of follow up, the patient is asymptomatic and without signs of recurrence.
