Legg-Cavé-Perthes disease is an idiopathic osteonecrosis of the femoral head that may lead to deformityof the femoral head and arthritis. Currently, the most commonly used classification is the Herring systembased in height lateral pillar. The goal of the treatment is to prevent deformity according to the classical principleof containment. However, there is no yet clear consensus on which is the best treatment for Legg-Calvé-Perthespediatric patients.
