Resumen (ES)
We present a series of 124 Wagner's long stem
femoral prostheses from 1990 to 1997. We analyzed 81 prostheses
with at least two years of follow up. We described
the surgical technique, intraoperative and postoperative
complications. The results show the versatility of the stem
in cases in which great deterioration of the femoral
metaphysis exists. The transfemoral approach is a good
access method for implant and cement removal as well as
for bone restoration.
