In every health care institution efforts are under way to reduce errors, eliminate variations and ensure that patients receive the best care possible, but substantial work remains to ensure that patients are safe in every setting where they receive health care. Special attention is devoted to Orthopaedics Surgery. Finally, the hospital/physician relationships is exposed and the evolving role of third parties.
