The authors present 6 cases of avulsion fracture of
the posterior tuberosity of the calcaneus (beak fractures), treated
all of them in our hospital, 5 of them surgically (open
reduction + stabilization with screws). The results have been
satisfactory in all the cases so much cosmetic like in the functional
aspect.
