Resumen (ES)
Rapidly destructive osteoarthropathy of the hip is an unusual hip arthropathy. Its etiology is unknown, although several factors have been linked, in which subchondral insufficiency fractures of the femoral head is one of the related recently, especially in patients with osteopenia or osteoporosis. We report a case of rapidly destructive hip osteoarthropathy in a patient where many osteoporotic fractures are associated, and whose evolution is started from the subchondral involvement of the femoral head.
