Resumen (ES)

The rapid changes in information technology are now legendary. There have similar transformations in the way information is represented, integrated, re-trieved and distributed. Computer-generated virtual reality has a great educational appeal. The greatest challenger brought about by this glut of medical information is that validatingthe information. The role of medical education will become more one of how to use this information than of how to obtain the information itself. Muscu-loskeletal medicine is not thought adequacy in medical schools and the predictable consequences are seen. Students cannot show cognitive mastery of the subject and lack confidence in this topic. To meet the increasing demand for diagnosis and treat-ment of musculoskeletal disorder, it is necessary to develop an integrated, multidis-ciplinary course (orthopaedics, rheumatology and physical medicine and rehabilita-tion) to teach knowledge and skills related to musculoskeletal disease to medical stu-dents.
