64 patients suffering from malignant nasal and orbitary lesiones have been reported. They have all been treated by wide excision and reconstruction using the mid-forehead island flap technique.The operating procedure and its technical variations to fit the individual lesión and its location are described in detail.The indications in treating more or less infiltrating lesions are discussed. The advantages and shortcomings of the method have been discussed.The necessity to adhere strictly to the indications has been stressed as the operation is a fairly big surgical proceduce to be done on usually elderly patients.
