45 patients witb ostheoarthrosis of the hip joint were treated with 47 varus-medial deplacement intertrochanteric osteotomies. 90º Müller osteosynthesis plate was used. A three year follow-up is being reported. They were evaluated clinicaly and radiologicaly: The pain lessened in all patients; walking improved in 45 % of the cases; mobility was unchanged. The radiographs showed an increase of tbe articular space in 75 % of the hips. The bone cyst and ostephytes persisted.
