Resumen (ES)

The authors present the results of the out-patient treatment of Perthes' Disease in 50 patients between the ages of  2 and 7 years. To avoid interpretation errors the radiologic images of the treated hips have been transformed into arithmetical data, using Sjovall's Epiphisary Quotient and Mayer's Articular Surface Quotient. These figures have been tabulated with the age of the patients at the onset symptoms and with Catterall's groups. With this system, we can classify the resuIts at the time of the first cure as, good, medium and poor.In this way, we are oriented towards a prognosis in the evolution of the affected bips. This work has been carried out in the Orthopaedic Departament of the Children's Hospital 01 the «Ciudad Sanitaria Francisco Franco» 01 Barcelona.
