Thirty three cases of intraarticular proximal tibial fractures surgicalIy treated between 1970-75 using Duparc and Ficat classification was reported. Fractures in children or tibial spines were not included.The management oi the patients from admission until discharge is described. The results: mobility, stability, pain, walking and cofidence of the patient were very satisfactory
