45 cases of fractures of the distal 1,3 of the forearm, treated in the General and Medical Hospital of Tenerife, were collected: One group were immobilised in supination, another in pronation and a third group in neutral position, in all cases after correct reduction.These fractures tended easily to an early displacement into the plaster, as it is well known. Immobilisatinn in neutral position increased this risk.
