Usually, the osteochondritis disecans of the knee is found in the notch of the internal femur condyle, nevertheless it migh occur in the distal end of the femur, and even less likely in the anterior area of the lateral condyle. One case of this unusual localization is described; its patogenic explanation and the róle of the patela are comented on, along with its treatment.
