Resumen (ES)
The functional casts and orthotics (plastic braces) for the treatment of fractures of the humerus have demonstrated more good and hopeful clinicalradiografic end-results when we count on more numerous case-histories. The most ostensible advantages are: stability of the focus of the fracture, early consolidation (6-8 weeks), free movement in aH joints, and an exceptional property in the increase of muscular contraction for which the rehabilitation period is non-existente
