Resumen (ES)
The sleeve fracture of the patella is a not often injury.
It happens ¡n childhood when one of the fragments of the
fracture is composed all or almost all by cartilage, been frequently
misdiagnosed. We reporttwo cases (one of the proximal
part of the patella and other of the distal one) remembering
that swelling after an ¡ndirecttrauma in the knee can hide
this injury, needing to examínate clinically and by X-rays carefully
to do a early diagnosis.
