Probably it is the eigth case in the literature. 1t consists of a fracture of carpal navicular with fracture of the head of the capitatum bone and perilunar dislocation. When the shear stress is quite strong the proximal fragments of the capitatum bone appears twistet 180°. A review is made of the production mechanisms and tratment possibilities.
