The differente classifications are being discussed as, well as the author''s own comprehensive classification. The knee condition previously to the fracture is ofgreat importance. The treatment used were: immobilisation in plaster, 3''5 % traction, 5 %, tractionsuspension, 6 %; surgical treatment by internal fixation, 60'5%.The problems about the technique, plaques .and rehabiHtation are analized. Functional treatment was used in 15 cases. The results are analized in order to achieve an estimate criteria about func.tion, economic cost and length of the treatment, factors of prognosis, etc.
