Resumen (ES)

A fuIl follow-up of 295 fractures of the shaft of tibia treated by conservative methods isanalysed, 153 of them treated by long plater and 120 by gaiter and early weight bearing.The best results were obtained by the latter method, with an earlier fussion and lesserrate of pseudoarthrosis. These results were compared with those obtained by surgicalmethods.
