Subluxación y luxación acromioclavicular

An analysis was performed of 37 aeromioelavieular joint injuries, 8 subluxations and29 díslocations. with an average follow-up period of 5 years. A roentgenographie and eliniestudy has been realized. Roentgenographie alterations were eonstant. Deformity andslight pain were frequent eomplieations. In most cases, normal range of shoulder motíonwas eonserved. In general, the prognosis is exeellent. In fresh injuries, eonservative treatmentis advised, espeeially for no young and no athlete patients. For symptomatie old dislocationof the aeromioclavicular joint, excision of the outer end of the clavicle is recomended.
