Resumen (ES)

In this study, we present the radiographic results
obtained from the reducible fíat foot child treatment with temporal
arthrorresis with the Giannini's subtalar prosthesis. A total
of 46 patients have been surveyed, 89 fíat feet have been operated
from January 1986 to January 2003 with children whose
ages range from 8-13 years and with a 19-month-follow up
period (2-40 months). In order to assess the degree of correction
achieved with this technique, 4 loaded angles of the foot
alignement have been taken into account: Kite's angle, talus
navicular angle, Sheade une or Meary Tomeno axis and the
inner Moreau-Costa-Bartani angle. Pre-and post operation
measures were carried out in all patients. All the angles studied
showed a relevant post-operation improvement and are statistically
significant (p<0.0001). The angles surveyed have proved
to be a good method for the radiographic assessment for the
child non-structured fíat foot. From a radiological point of view,
the Giannini's technique ¡sefficient and stableforthe correction
of the reducibte fíat foot in the child.
