The authors report their experience on 33 cases of total knee prothesis performedalong 1971/81 in reumathoid arthritis and ostheoarthritis. The results with the slidingsprothesis have been better than those obtained with the hinge prothesis.The total hip replacement is an operation with very strict indications but provides greatbenefits to the patients.
