The authors report an study on 30 patients with ipsilateral fracture of the lower limb.Their conclusions were: 100% were road-traffic accidents with a high energy, beingaccompanied by someother skeletical and visceral injuries. There are always differentcriteria about their treatrnent; however always with complications. 50% of the paticntswere forced to change their professional activities. The stiffncss of the ankle always was atypical sequelae.
