Ten cases of recurrent dislocation of the shoulder operated with the 8ankart and PuttiPlatcombined techniques are reported, The functional resuIts were very good in all cases.50% showed sorne Iimitation of the externa] rotation.To the authors' opinion there is more than onc cause for this disorder; however, 5()fYlIshowed laxity in someother joints (ankIes, wrists, elbows, kness), it might be considcred abasic factor.
