Resumen (ES)

The undisplaced femoral neck fractures has different methods of treatment. One of the most frequently use technique is percutaneously placed cannulated screws. A devastating but infrequent complication of this techniqueis a subtrochanteric femur fracture after screw fixation. We present 3 cases of this complication, concluding in a low energy traumatism the common aetiology cause and a distal entry point the most frequent risk factor. A suitabletreatment must be taken depending on the femoral neck fracture healing and the general patient conditions. In ourexperience, a total hip arthroplasty, a gamma 3 nail and a unloading actuation, has been the 3 use treatments.A favourable evolution and the return to the march are the common results.
