Resumen (ES)
Eighteen ruptures of the Anterior and Posterior Cruciate Ligaments were treated by carbon-fibre implants.Carbon-flbre has been used in chronic and acure injuries of the cruciate llgaments of the knee. These implants were well tolerated by the parir u.s and they show excellent biocurnpatibility and good biomechanical properties. The follow-up was two years. The resutts show that Carbon-fibre implants are evcellent except in four cases only. It is necesary to make a new evaluation after five years.
