26 olecranon fractures have been treated from 1985 to 1987 with internal ñxation with two I. Q. L. holed needles supported with tension band wiring.A revision of the fracture c1assification was carried out. A biomechanical analysis of this osteosynthesis was undertaken at the Politechnic University of Valencia.Excellent results of this surgical management have been obtained.
