Resumen (ES)

A series of 87 cases of impingement syndrome with
rotator-cuff tears, treated surgically in our Service by open
acromioplasty and repair of the rotator cuff is presented.
After the operation, 85% of the patients had a satisfactory
result, with a significant improvement as much of the pain as
the movement of the shoulder (p < 0.001).
