In the prescnt work it is studied the hnplantation of Charnley Total Hip Arthroplasticresults (JP. T. C. Ch.), made at "San Agustin" Hospital, in Avilés (Asturias), during 1976 and1977. Thcrefore, it's been followed for more than ten years.They all fit the same model and their results are rated under the same measures, fromMerle D' Aubigné and Postel (Paticnts impressión is valucd acording to Huggler)The efTcctsuse to be satisfactory, although thcre have been sorne complications and sorneof them had to be re-examlnated.Th ese problems are discu ssed along th iswork, as well as th e COIllparative experience withother authors.
