We report a case of simultaneus triplane fracture of
the distal tibial epiphysis and spiral fracture of the ipsilateral
tibial-shaft fracture in a 14 year-old boy. The association of these
two lesions has not previously been reported and can be considered
as a new lesional type IV triplane fracture of the distal tibial
epiphysis.
