A study in 20 rats with nerve sciatic compression (WEISL andOSBORNE method), and compression descompresión in diferenttimes was made. The authors studied the sciatic nerve microcirculationin this situations in front of the normal nerve. They saw an intensivevascularization immediately after and before the place ofthe compression, and a vessels scarcity in the compression area.After t h e descompresion it saw a normal and slowly recuperation ofthe vascular role, but never so many vessels as in the proximalzones.
