25 patients with chronic alcoholism are colected by the authors.They studied the osteoarthropathy from a clinical andradiological point of view. Some metabolic and neurologic alterationshave been found, that it justify this osteoarthropathy.However, in some cases they couldn't prove neurologic alterationsand by that, it would have to justify the osteoarthropathy only forthe metabolic findings.There are not relation between the grade of neurologic and/ormetabolic injury and the radiologic alteration, as well as therelation with quantity of alcohol consumed.
