A 79 years old woman that presented her middle finger metacarpophalangealjoint blocked in flexion because and osteophite on the dorsal-ulnar aspect of the head of themetacarpal is presented. Diagnostic was stablished after radiological study. Resection of the osteophiteallowed the ulnar collateral ligament come back to its normal excursion and completeextension of the joint was regained.
