The normal muscles of young men and women were studied with histochemical and morphometric techniques in order to establish the normal muscular pattern for the diagnosis of the gluteus muscle pathology. The NADH-tr activity showed three types of fibers and two types with ATPase myosinic, everything compared to morphometric values which show the light NADH-tr activity fibers to have a higher proportion of them than those of high NADH-tr activity.
