Resumen (ES)

Three hundred and seventy two both-bones fractures of the forearm are reported, being 80% of them children's fractures, of 6 to 10 years age, mainly produced by playing falls. The majority of them were greenstick fractures at distal level, being treated by closed method.  Seventy-eight per cent of forearm fractures in adults were treated by closed method. The fracture level was considered before treatment.  For all fractures of the proximal level surgical treatment was undoubtly considered the right one. For some fractures of distal level surgical treatment was considered necessary.  The importance of the closed method nowadays in the treatment of the forearm fractures is analised.
