Resumen (ES)
We report an inusual case of a simultaneous and
spontaneous bilateral Achilles tendon ruptures, in a 74 yearsold
male, without traumatic previous. The patient previously
had been diagnosed of a chronic obstructive pulmonary disease
(COPD). The ultrasonography not confirms the bilateral
Achilles tendon ruptures. We do an opened surgery revision,
and confirm the initial suspicion, and a bilateral reconstructed
and bilateral immobilized with two groinfoot gypsums, for
4 weeks in the equinus position and then in the neutral position
for 2 weeks without weightbearing, with posterior ambulatory
rehabilitation. We obtain a completely reparation with
normal walk.
